Prelim: The pedestrian was traveling southbound on Ritchie Road on a bicycle when she was struck. The striking car didn't remain on scene.
Southbound Ritchie Road at Ashwood Drive is closed, and will reopen at approximately 1:30 am. #mdtraffic
Update: The victim, an adult female struck in last nights hit and run accident on Ritchie Road was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
