• There are now about 15 minutes left for the Pr. George's committee to hear, vote for paid sick leave bill. There are lots of speakers here. 
• .@melrfranklin concerned biz in his district will move out of county because of paid sick leave. Wants to urge state to move a bill. 
• .@MaryLehman_D1 says Pr. George's cannot wait on state for paid sick leave, because 42% of workers here don't have access.
• .@PGCMDeniTaveras argues 4 sick leave as human rights issue/want to create quality jobs. "67% of latinos" dont have it in her district.
• Business groups (rest; apts; chamber of cmmerce) testify they prefer to see the state to deal with paid sick leave not the county.

• The Pr. George's NAACP is supportive of #sickleave legislation, argued county can encourage state to move more quickly on a bill.
